Introduction
Sisters,Our study this week begins with these questions: "Who is the devil? What do you know about him and where did you get your information? From movies? books? video games?" As followers of Christ, it is important that we know exactly who the devil is --because his goals involve us personally. We will not learn all there is to know about the devil in this lesson, but we will be able to recognize him and overcome his tactics against us and our families!!
Perhaps you know of a sister who should be in this study. Please invite her. Looking forward to fellowshipping and learning with you all on Wednesday @ 7pm.
Part I
Sisters-In-Christ,
We are off to a good start in uncovering the tactics of the enemy! We also uncovered the sealed fate of Satan which began in the Garden of Eden as God pronounced him "cursed." One of our sisters commented, "He has no future!" It is important to know that because of the price Christ paid for us, we can be delivered from the plots and plans of the enemy. Our focus this week was on Gen. 3:1-15. If you missed this class, please join us next week as we will continue with Part II of Week One. If you plan to come and will need a book, please let me know so I can place another order.
Part I continued
Sisters,
We had a great time in our study last night as our sisters shared some wonderful observations from the Word of God. We discovered that Satan has boundaries placed on him by God. That although he is our acuser, God is our defender. We looked at the first chapter of Job to draw these conclusions along with our Scripture study of Rev.12:7-9.
Satan does not have free reign to wreak havoc in the life of the believer! We are covered by God's grace. Whatever we suffer in Christ will ultimately work out for our good as we continue to trust Him. Satan is a liar and the father of all lies: God is TRUTH! We will continue to walk in victory from all of Satan's tactics!!!
Part 1 session, first study, we discussed Who is the Devil. It got hot up in there when we talked about how the enemy has a relationship with us. We can't be so sanctified that we forget that we still sinners.
